Working with Draft Horses Class 

CURRENTLY  THIS CLASS IS NO LONGER OFFERED.  HOWEVER WE MAY OPT TO OFFER A CART TRAINING CLASS. 

 

 

Some basic and fun information with some hands on training!  We will be having a guest speaker for this class as I feel that our experience is too limited to do the topic justice (and of course our draft just isn't user friendly yet for beginners). 

Things we hope to have covered and/or demonstrated:

  •  Basic Care 
  • Special Care for draft horses
  • Feed and housing
  • Harnessing
  • Uses (logging, driving, farm work)
  • Equipment

Fees:

$ 35 per adult person (17+) with pre-registration ($40 at the gate)

$ 9 per child under 17  with pre-registration ($11 at the gate)

Supervised children under 5 are free

Discounts-10% multi-class can be applied to this seminar

Price is a little higher for this class as we will we inviting in a guest speaker.
