Cornerstone Acres Farm

Sharing the cornerstones of good natural living and self-sufficiency.

Over the Rainbow Bridge

This is just a page to honor some of our favorites on the farm that have left us to play in pastures of a different kind.   It's not just for the dogs or cats, but all the critters that touched our hearts deeply and are forever held in that special place they touched.

Reign - our beloved Great Pyrenees

Reign  4/29/2015

Our male, Reign.  Age about 18 months.

We lost our beloved Reign to an unexpected illness April 29th, 2015 at only 4 years of age.  We hope to have another male to try and fill his role as our buck guardian and the sire of future generations of LGD.

Reign has quite the look here......

Rosie

We lost our awesome Rosie in 2016 after a very hard bout of Milk Fever, followed by mastitis then followed by pneumonia.  She fought hard for two full months and while we thought she was on the road to recovery, the pneumonia was just too much for her.   She will be missed.

Rosie is a 2010 model Boer/Kiko doe.  Can be registered 50% USBGA, but due to the fact we are dealing mainly in ABGA and commercial does (and we missed the deadline to transfer her USBGA registration to the ABGA) we just haven't registered her.

Check out her album on our FB farm page: ROSIE
