Cornerstone Acres Farm

Sharing the cornerstones of good natural living and self-sufficiency.

Here we hope to slowly add items and information that relate to natural homesteading and herbal remedies (for both ourselves and our animals).  Everything from some basic essential oils (EO) and their uses around the farm to the natural healing properties of herbs found all over our area!  Also to be included: money saving tips for at home recipes and recycling ideas.

This will be a VERY time consuming project so with the time taken up by just the everyday things on the farm it may take some time to really get going on this page.

We do have some info started HERE on our FB page.

Recipe Indexes (everything from recipes for dinner to recipes for laundry soap and herbal remedies for the livestock) Clicking links will open a new window.

AROUND THE HOUSE: Includes laundry soap, dishwasher detergent, toothpaste, goat's milk soap, mouthwash,

IN THE KITCHEN: Includes hamburger helpers, pasta, banana muffins,

IN THE BARN:  Includes wormers, Anti-diarrheal, Iron formula for anemia, Respiratory issues, External parasites, post-natal formulas, broken bones, milk stimulating herbs,

IN THE GARDEN:  Squash bugs, Rose chafers, Soil amendments

HERBS (and other basics) A listing of all the herbs we try to have on hand and that we have used. Also includes some of our favorite links to other herbal sites.

Recycle, Reduce, Reuse (items we have repurposed or reused; also things we hope to try someday)

Why did they do that? (Everything from using pigs to till the garden to collecting vintage books)

Please note that at the bottom of each section and recipe there is a link that will bring you back to the previous index.
