Below you will find our 2022 piglets listed by litter.  

I will rarely litter notify with both registries so will see NA in some columns until I decide to send in dual registration.   I won't often, if ever, register an entire litter of piglets.  It would be rare to find a litter of "perfect" pigs.  Bear with me as I take time to evaluate who does make the cut to be registered.  You will find I do register more gilts than I do boars.  The reason for this is simple, I tend to be VERY picky with what boars I want to have registered.  A single boar can make a huge impact on the overall quality of literally hundreds of piglets each year.  However a sow would influence closer to 20 piglets in that same year.  With the likelihood that his genetic imprint will be on so many more piglets it is very important to make sure that genetic imprint is the best it can be!   

Status will start out as "evaluating".   Evaluating may mean we may be waiting for DNA to come back to see who the sire is so that we or other buyers can determine if a particular animal will fit their breeding program. It may mean that we are holding out a bit to decide if an animal is registration worthy.  It may also mean that we are looking at over all quality to decide on pricing or how we want to sell that animal.  

Then once I am done evaluating, I will switch to one of the following designations:

Sold (means animal has been paid for)

Reserved (means someone has spoken for the animal until our evaluations are done)

Pending (means animal is waiting for a deposit)

Deposit Received (means a deposit has been received for that animal)

Retained (means we will be keeping that animal)

Meat (means we will be raising that animal for processing)

Available (means animal is up for sale)

Unavailable (means either deceased or I'm not sure what I want to do with it yet, but it isn't sale quality)

Stillborn piglets or piglets deceased before weaning may or may not be included in the tables.
