Gardening Seminar

Our garden is our best organic endeavor and we would like to share our methods with you!

Topics we will cover:

·         Soil testing

·         Soil amendments

·         Garden planning

·         Bed preparation

·         Container planting

·         Perennials

·         Herbs

·         Weed control

·         Insect control

·         Companion planting

·         Fencing options

·         Vertical gardening

·         Edible landscaping (Plant food not lawn)

·      Great varieties for our area (we would love strong attendee participation during this segment of the class)

Each attendee will get a small packet of heirloom tomato seeds to plant in your own garden.  Also some fresh veggies if there is anything available at the time of the class.

Fees:

$ 25 per adult person (17+) with pre-registration ($32 at the gate)

$ 5 per child under 17 with pre-registration ($8 at the gate)

Supervised children under 5 are free

Discounts-10% multi-class can be applied to this seminar

Class Size:

10 minimum

Weather appropriate attire is suggested.
